HEATH FAMILY PRAYER LETTER

APRIL 2017

Dear Friends and Supporters,

March was a very busy month for me. Between church meetings, Character Under Construction trainings, public school

meetings, prison services, and Ambassadors crusades we were constantly on the go. On top of that we had some things at

home that kept us very busy when our basement flooded due to the failure of our sump pump. I returned home from

meetings in southern Missouri and Illinois about 4:00 AM on a Monday morning. About 8:30 or 9:00 that morning Heather

came in and woke me up with the bad news that we had water throughout the basement. Needless to say, the next few

days were spent cleaning up, throwing away and drying out our stuff. Our house is still turned upside down because of

that.

On a more positive note, we had a lot going on with the ministry last month. For starters, I was able to complete training

classes with two churches for public school ministry and Character Under Construction. One church is in Ava, MO and the

other church is in Charlotte, MI. The church in Ava has already met with the High School principal in their town and they

are making plans to begin CUC classes this fall. It thrills my heart to see others catch the vision and get involved in the

public schools. If your church is interested in starting a ministry in the public schools in your area please feel free to

contact me and we will be glad to help get you started.

The Ambassadors Sports Ministries got under way with three basketball crusades. The first was at Muskegon Correctional

Facility and two at Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, MI. (Level 1 & Level 2). We came up on the losing end of all

three games, however, we were able to distribute about 600 John and Romans and we preached to several hundred

inmates and there were NINE inmates who came forward to trust Christ as their Saviour. So we won! If you would like to

read more details about each crusade you can follow us on our Ambassadors Sports Facebook page.

In January of this year the new chaplain at Parnall Correctional Facility cancelled most of the Christian services, including

our Thursday night service. Now instead of having a weekly service we are on a rotation with a lot of other “Christian”

volunteers on Wednesday’s and we only have one service a month. So the last Wednesday of March was the first time I

had been back since the first week of January. Several men said how much they miss the Rock of Ages services and that

they were glad to see me. We had over 80 men in the service (the largest crowd I have had there) and the Lord moved in a

special way. When I extended the invitation there were 11 men who responded to trust Christ as their Saviour!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. Please let me know if you would like us to come to a mission’s

conference or a meeting at your church to give an update.

Until He Comes,

Brian Heath
