Soul-Winning Ministry

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  Romans 10:13

Each Saturday morning, we meet and go out into our town, seeking for those whose hearts God has prepared for the Gospel. It is a great joy seeing our neighbors in Lebanon come to Christ, and seeing new faces at services as a result. For those unsure how to lead someone to the Lord, we offer a Soulwinning Prayer Breakfast once every few months to train new soulwinners for Christ.

"Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not..."   Matthew 19:14

The Bus Ministry is a great blessing here at the Church. We enjoy having numerous promotions, encouraging the kids to bring their friends and family to church. We have a great time learning verses and singing about Jesus. We believe the most important thing children can do is to learn the Word of God and sing Praise about the very one who made them. Our bus routes currently travel all over Lebanon. We are looking to add future bus routes that will venture into Frankfort and Whitestown.

"And they bring unto him one that was deaf..." Mark 7:32

We Now have a newly developed deaf ministry established in April of 2012. This is a growing ministry, we have a deaf interpreter for Sunday Morning, Sunday Evening, and Wednesday Night services. We will soon be adding a deaf Sunday school class and ASL classes. We are looking forward to the growth of this ministry as a church body and encourage all to come.

Children are an important part of our church. Our goal is to supplement the nurture and admonition of a Godly home with truths and values from God's word, and to have fun doing so. Each Sunday morning we hold classes for 3-year-olds through middle school. In each class caring teachers lead their classes in Bible lessons, singing songs and exciting activities. Other children's activities include Children's Choir, Middle-School Summer Camp, and Summer Vacation Bible School.

We have a very active youth group. There is always something fun going on. We have weekly meetings on Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm for 6th-graders through High School Seniors. Meetings include games, food and a lesson from our youth pastor that is geared to meet the needs of young people today. Other teen activities often include Youth Rallies, Teen Summer Camp, and Vacation Bible School. 

 Ladies' Ministry

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."   Proverbs 31:10

We call our Ladies' Ministry Keepers of the Light. Our goal is that each lady would truly be a "Keeper of the Light" in her home, her workplace, at the grocery store, with her friends, family, and in the church as a true servant for Jesus Christ, who is "THE LIGHT". We started this ministry not to be another ladies gossip session, but to teach our ladies how to have a more personal walk with Jesus Christ. We wish to create a desire within each of us to know more about Christ and to share it with those we come in contact with every day. Keepers of the Light is headed by our Pastor's wife, Dawn McNair, and holds ladies' meetings with activities, fellowship and devotionals nearly every month.

Music is a special part of the services here at Lighthouse. This ministry includes many opportunities for you to serve the Lord with your musical abilities. Our choir practices every Sunday evening from 4:45-5:30 and Wednesday evening for 15 minutes after the service. We welcome you to be a part of our music ministry, whether your talent be an instrument or your voice.
