Hello, I am Karen Downs. I first visited Lighthouse Baptist Church in the fall of 2004. It was then that I accepted the Lord as my Savior and got saved. In the spring of 2005, I was baptized and joined the church. Soon after, I felt led of the Lord to start serving Him in the church. I began serving in the nursery, choir, vacation bible school, Sunday school, and Kings Kids. One day I was asked if I would consider teaching the K-2nd Grade Jr Church and I gladly accepted the opportunity. I really enjoy seeing their curiosity! Just knowing the Lord is using me to teach these little children is amazing and so rewarding.
